We're Fated To Pretend.

Seeing as music is such a big influence in my life, I decided to make an attempt at incorporating it into my art. I wanted to try to depict a song, in this case "Time to Pretend" by MGMT, through a picture, or series of pictures, capturing the story in lyrics but also portraying the feeling and energy brought forth by the music itself.

To listen to/download the song(Legally) Right click on the link(for macs, ctrl+click) and choose either "Save Target As" "Save Link As" "Save Linked File To Desktop". It may vary depending on what browser you are using.

MP3's: MGMT - Time To Pretend

The following shots are taken from a photo shoot themed around verse 1 of "Time to Pretend"

I'm feeling rough, I'm feeling raw, I'm in the prime of my life.
Let's make some music, make some money, find some models for wives.
I'll move to Paris, shoot some heroin, and fuck with the stars.
You man the island and the cocaine and the elegant cars.

With the emphasis mainly on lines 3 and 4.
All the shots were taken by me except for the last, which was taken by Noel Laporte, and edited by me.
