I Think I'm Seeing Double

Two light study photographs.

Vitruvian Man

Repetition

Grayscale

Since the last few pieces I've posted have been very similar, I decided to throw in some good old fashion pencil drawings to keep it from getting stale. The following pieces are some of the better ones I found while looking through my sketchbook from last year. They are, in order, Twiggy(super model), Emily Haines(singer of Metric), Jenny Lewis(singer of Rilo Kiley), and a Chanel model(I never finished it, so she has no mouth.)

I've also attached a song from both Metric and Rilo Kiley for anyone who wants them. Enjoy.

Spy Vs. Spy

Four Of A Kind

As I was working and experimenting with the light graffiti, I started to grow interested with the way light reflecting off the moving artist would cause his or her image to show up multiple times in the same photograph. After a spending a day or two studying this, I made and attempt at combining this phenomena with the light graffiti that I was already experimenting with, resulting in this picture. It is by no means perfect, and Lauren is clearly transparent in each pose, but I plan on push this further until I end up with a picture as close to flawless as I can manage.

MP3's: The Strokes - Reptilia
(Though I did not have this song in mind when taking the picture, I feel that the two pair together fairly well, specifically the line- "The room is on fire as she's fixing her hair")

Warhol On Fire

Light It Up

For the past year or so, I have been experimenting with what is known as "light graffiti". My main influence and inspiration throughout this has been Lichtfaktor, but this form of art is much more commonly known from the Sprint commercials. I've been trying to push this idea and take it to a new place, and this is what I've come up with. These are only a few of the shots I've taken, but I will post more soon.

Float On

Photoshop used to be, and to a degree still is, kind of a passion of mine. After years of messing around, I realized that the my collection of mindless "doodles", at least to me, could make fairly interesting shirts. Unfortunately, since I don't exactly own my own clothing label, I just ended up with a bunch of potential designs that I can't really do anything with. Enjoy.
